Third Female film Festival In Trivandrum

University Students Centre will host the third Female Film Festival, arranged by the Kerala Centre for Women’s Studies from today and will continue till September 30.
The inauguration of the event will be done today jointly by Thiruvananthapuram Mayor K. Chandrika; Actors KPAC Lalitha, Vijayakumari, and Nilambur Ayisha, Nangyar Koothu exponent Margi Sathi, and veteran Left activist and singer P.K. Medini at the Gandhi Park at 5 p.m.Sixteen films will be screened in the World and Indian Cinema categories, apart from a number of short films and documentaries. Discussions on ‘Women and Creative Expression’ will be held at 5 p.m. on September 28 and 29 at the Gandhi Park. The event is being organized in association with the Kerala University Union, Vanitha Sahithi, Federation of Film Societies of India, and the Kerala State Chalachithra Academy.
