In a ceremony in the elephant rehabilitation centre in Trivandrum, a letter created by the wild life department in the model of an elephant is gaining public attention. The stage of state level inauguration of wild life celebrations taking place from October 2 to 8 is Kappukad elephant rehabilitation centre of Kottoor. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy inaugurates the function.

The centre has become a main tourist spot where hundreds of people including foreigners visit daily. The invitation card specially designed by the wild life department portrays Agasthyavanam in the form of an elephant and includes the picture of an elephant. The invitation card has by now earned the attention of many people.
