With the increasing number of people capturing dengue fever, Clinical tests done in Malaysia and India have come up with proof to prove the efficacy of Carica papaya leaf. so that the requirement for papaya leaf juice has soared. The extract of raw papaya leaf helps raise platelets, also known as thrombocytes. Among five patients, papaya leaf juice was discovered to be efficient in treating dengue. The number of platelets increased in all five patients within 24 hours of drinking the juice, with all patients confirming significant enhancement in their health.
For dengue fever it is recommended that the juice is produced by smashing fresh leaves of papaya. One leaf of papaya provides about one tablespoon of juice. Two tablespoons of papaya leaf juice are given to dengue patient three times a day once every six hours.
